About the Scholarship
The Jeffery Brewton Memorial Engineering Scholarship will enable engineering students enrolled at Tuskegee University in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Physical Science (Mechanical Engineering Majors) to receive financial assistance.
Applicants started applying in the Fall of 2011. The first scholarship was awarded in 2012.
Criteria
Scholarships are to be awarded to full-time undergraduate students based on academic merit or financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid.
Basic Requirements:
- The Jeffery Brewton Memorial Engineering Scholarship is established for students currently enrolled in the College of Engineering, Architecture and Physical Science. It is specifically limited to mechanical engineering students (students must have an established track record with the school of engineering).
- Applicants must be sophomores, juniors or seniors currently attending Tuskegee University with a minimum grade point average of 3.0.
- Applicants must be enrolled as full-time students, must be eligible to receive financial aid assistance and have an active financial aid recorded on file at Tuskegee University.
- The Jeffery Brewton Memorial Engineering Scholarship Trustees reserves the right to refer potential applicants; however, the final selection are the responsibility of Tuskegee University.
Scholarship Dollar Limits:
- Maximum amount per student for academic and need-based scholarships - $2,000
- Maximum amount per student for book scholarships - $500

1. Complete the attached Application Form to apply. Applicants may also pick up applications on campus in the University Advancement Office 2. Write a brief statement of the reason you are applying for this scholarship.
3. Copy of your Student Resume
